Grant Taylor and Suzanne Jacquot are excited to offer this in-depth, go-at-your-own-pace online abstract art course on Mastering Composition. Being artists, we believe that the artist desires to communicate and express his/her/their ideas and feelings to the world, so the artist must be an accomplished choreographer of intentions, space and design. To help you do this, we deliverd four powerful and necessary fundamentals for making paintings that are compelling and dynamically composed.

Mastering Composition will help you understand and be confident in these fundamental art principles.

• Ways of seeing and dividing space

• How to invite the viewer into your world and keep them there with Emphasis and Hierarchy

• How to guide the viewer through your image with Eye Flow

• How to create visual weight and dynamic harmony with Balance and Unity

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?

Our amazing Mastering Composition course consists of a materials list and 8 important lessons. Each of the four fundamentals of composition has two lessons. They will include a video of the topic, a slide show of examples, a PDF with pertinent information, exercise(s) often with a video demonstration but all with images and instructions so you can repeat them over and over. Optionally, at the end of the course, you can ask for a 1/2 hour consultation with Suzanne to discuss your course work and share your images.

Our pre-recorded course can be purchased and then started whenever it is convenient for you. You can do the course at whatever pace you like; pausing, replaying as required. You have unlimited access to the course for as long as you wish.
